🤷‍♂️ Who am I…

I want to begin by introducing myself. My name is Ryan Almusawi, and I am from Fort Worth, TX. I am the founder of dream: success, a nonprofit bringing education to children around the world.

Many are surprised to learn that our charity is a spin-off organization from Charitable Crusaders — a nonprofit I started when I was eleven years old.

It began as a pact between my friends and me to get involved in community service.

We hosted a variety of programs, such as Slay Hunger, which developed partnerships with food-related businesses, like Starbucks and Panera Bread, so we could prevent food waste and provide meals for people experiencing homelessness.

Despite many (unsolicited) recommendations by family, mentors, and friends to avoid the nonprofit path, I found myself with an insatiable passion for helping others and supporting organizations that sustain humanity.

I became hooked for life!

You’ll get weekly deep dives on a wide variety of topics, including marketing, fundraising, legal, accounting/finance, and other areas relevant to nonprofits.

I’ll also send out a roundup of curated resources I discovered from the previous week — you won’t want to miss it.

Listen, I’m convinced that so much of running a thriving organization is having the right information and a community of professionals (hint, hint) you can run to with questions. That’s what Nonprofit Hustle strives to be.
